A brand photoshoot in Bradford-on-Avon, Bath with Rachel from Enabled by RW

It was very exciting for me to be asked to go to Bath for a branding photoshoot. I haven’t visited Bath before, have always wanted to go and with some magical twist of fate the shoot was just before my birthday weekend.

So I set off, fiancé in tow, to Bath for what will have been my wettest branding shoot to date. (Luckily I was armed with a raincoat and a transparent umbrella).

Rachel and I connected on LinkedIn when she was looking for some new images to help her promote her new coaching arm of her business. It was important to her that it showed aspects of her lifestyle and the real space that she works in for her followers to be able to get to know her authentically and fit with her personal values.

Rachel runs Enabled by RW and as well as coaching people to have their own ‘mic drop moment’ she is an event manager and show caller for sporting events and had recently come back from working at the Invictus games. Whilst on the shoot we chatted and found a mutual love of olympic swimming and netball and could have spoken for ours about running a business, sport, events and psychology. It truly was a lovely afternoon that we spent together and listening to passionate business owners tell me about what they do and why they do it is one of the most magical parts of what I get to do.

Unfortunately during our shoot we had approximately 15 minutes of dry weather before the heavens opened and Bath became it’s namesake. But we chose to use the rain as an opportunity to get more creative, more dymanic and more interesting, literally getting into the river at one point and splashing around. As we began to loosen up and have some fun (after drying off for a bit and having a coffee - best place for chats and getting comfy around each other) we managed to get some exciting, personality filled lifestyle shots that were perfect for Rachel’s new launch and website.

I love the challenge of getting creative when conditions aren’t ideal and this shoot is the perfect example of embracing what you’ve got and running with it. Rachel’s amazing yellow raincoat against that yellow door way puts literal joy into my heart and i’m so glad that we got to shoot together.

.Here’s what she had to say about the shoot:

“Becky made me feel really comfortable with having my photo taken and doing some silly / fun things out in streets, which I never thought I’d do 😆 The photos are AMAZING and I’m looking forward to using them in my business. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Becky”
